Goals
- Strengthen the science–policy interface for answering complex policy questions
- Share the latest modelling findings to help reconcile climate targets and bioeconomy ambitions
- Understand the climate change impacts on climate mitigation and bioeconomy potentials
- Unveil adaptation and restoration contributions to the resilience of the EU forest sector
- Learn about new opportunities from large data and AI tools
The Forum will be structured to enable high-level exchange and targeted technical dialogue, combining policy-oriented presentations, panel discussions involving policymakers and modellers and focused sessions designed to advance practical alignment between modelling and policy needs.
Participation
We particularly welcome active participation to provide strategic insights, policy perspectives, or modelling advances relevant to the themes outlined above. Interested parties are invited to contact us through to get a detailed agenda and registration information.
Practical information
ForestNavigator and DG CLIMA are committed to widening participation across EU Member States. The ForestNavigator HEU project may cover travel and accommodation costs for eligible representatives upon specific request.
