Job Opportunity at IIASA – Coordinator of ForestNavigator
Our coordinator, the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), is seeking a new colleague to join the IBF research group.
Position: Researcher in land use policies (with experience in quantitative modeling)
Application deadline: 15 October 2025
The successful candidate will contribute to international projects tracking national climate targets, with a particular focus on the LULUCF sector. Tasks include quantitative impact assessments, climate policy analysis from policy texts to data, and providing up-to-date evaluations of mitigation progress, especially regarding the second and third rounds of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) through 2035.
